Fresh USDA chicken builds and maintains lean muscle. It's a high-quality, highly digestible protein without hormones, steroids or antibiotics. Pollock fish, high in Omega 3, is helpful for pets with inflammatory diseases including allergies, arthritis, kidney disease, heart disease and cancers.
Potatoes, carrots, and celery deliver beta carotene (vitamin A), potassium, niacin, and B vitamins right from the source. Blueberries contain pectin, a soluble fiber associated with colon health. They also provide vitamins and antioxidants for numerous nutritional benefits. High in potassium and vitamin B6, bananas benefit the heart, kidneys, bones and nervous system, while flaxseed oils help to support healthy skin and a glossy coat.
Extra pieces of chicken and fish have been placed on top of the ingredients in each bag, so you can see the high-quality meat used. It is not necessary to include a piece of meat in each serving, because most of the meat is ground up and distributed evenly throughout the bag. The suggested daily amounts should be adjusted to suit your own cat's unique nutritional requirements and appetite, which may vary according to age and level of activity. Keep fresh water available at all times. Store in a cool dry place.
<b>Easy Feeding Instructions:</b> For each cup of Grandma Lucy's Artisan, add 1 to 1-1/2 cups of warm water. Stir well and let stand for 3-5 minutes. After 3-5 minutes, food may be consumed. Leftover food may be refrigerated for up to 48 hours. The 3 lb. bag makes 17 lbs. of fresh food.
