Wellness CORE Ocean Dry Dog Food is a more thoughtful grain-free, fish-based alternative for dogs over 1 year old who need to maintain optimal daily health. An excellent source of essential fatty acids for healthy skin and coat, this formula is made with 4 different protein sources: whitefish, whitefish meal, salmon meal and menhaden fish meal. Grain-free to keep carbohydrates to a minimum, potatoes provide fiber and energy-giving carbohydrates, while keeping the kibble firm. No animal by-products, wheat, soy, dairy, corn or corn gluten, artificial preservatives, colors or flavors are added.
Ingredients such as kale, broccoli, spinach and parsley are chosen for their naturally unique dietary contributions. Glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate help maintain bone and joint health, along with maximum levels of calcium and phosphorus. After cooking, each kibble is coated with a source of live naturally-occurring microorganisms normally found in a healthy digestive tract.
The nutrient levels of this food are appropriate for adult dogs over 1 year, including senior dogs, that are less active or overweight.
